The shooters advocate

Shooters Union is a state based organisation founded by, and setup for, shooters and firearm owners of all types; whether you are a recreational shooter, hunter, collector, competitive club shooter, dealer, if you are involved in rural production or the security industry.

We support ALL responsible users of firearms.

Membership gives you:

• “Genuine reason” to own cat A,B & H  firearms in Qld. (other states may differ).
• As an “Approved Hunting Organisation” with the NSW Game Council, Shooters Union gives you access to up to 5,000,000 ha of public land
  for hunting in NSW, so you can qualify even if you live outside NSW.

• Public Liability Insurance when shooting *(under policy conditions ).
• Regular informative e-newsletters.
• Instant “Legislative Alerts” via email so you can contact your local politicians with your opinion BEFORE changes occur.
• When funding allows Shooters Union will also contract with firearms friendly solicitors to have them represent members interests in appeals against unfair regulatory decisions to members. This will assure that firearms and weapons regulators act within the confines of the current regulations and do not overstep the rules themselves.
